About Surveys

Professional counselors (such as school counselors, and graduate students) use this site to send out surveys. Most often they use the surveys for research, or to help evaluate their work.

If you have been invited to take a survey on this site, you have the following assurances:

• there are very strong protections in place for your anonymity
• the people who make surveys cannot get your IP address or track you through cookies
• the people who make surveys are expected to give you accurate information what the survey is about and how to contact them

Also remember:

• this site will not try to get personally-identifying information from your computer
• this site does not use encryption ("secure") web pages
• never provide sensitive personal information (like your social security number) to anyone who requests it through a survey on this site
• you never have to answer any survey question that you don't want to

If you are a professional counselor, you can create a free account for creating high-quality electronic surveys which closely relate to the teaching, research and service agendas of helping professionals. The surveys can be used in any type of research or program evaluation that involves an informed consent process. They have been used in academic, clinical, and public school settings.

Due to funding limitations of the site, free survey services are limited to certain professional groups.
